Practice:
5 minutes warm up and stretch
10 -15 minutes - serves
15-20 minutes skill/drills
Last 15 minutes let them scrimmage with instruction as they go.
Week 1 - Get to know your players, have they played before, new to the sport, what is their skill level? Go over the rotation. Work on Passing - form, fundamentals, moving their feet to the ball.
Week 2 - Communication. Serves, explain the serving procedure on our recreational volleyball page.
Week 3 - Add Hitting fundamentals
Week 4 - Add Setting fundamentals
Week 5-8 - continue to work on form and helping with the different skills
Note: When doing your line up for games, try to mix the players that might have played with the new players.
