Referee's must
be at least 16 years of age
have knowledge of the game of basketball
know the rules of the game
Attend pre-season training session
Attend all games dressed and ready to work with a whistle in hand

Please make sure you fill out a W9 Form and turn it in to us so we can process your payroll at the end of the season. You can view and print the W9 form [HERE]. Referees will get paid at the end of the season. For questions about the rate of pay, please email [email protected].

Winter Referee Training

NPSC will be hosting referee training sessions this winter. All referees are required to attend the training sessions. This will ensure all referee are familiar with NPSC rules and expectations.

Officials Uniform

All referee's are required to wear Basketball Officials Jersey, Black Slacks (no shorts), black shoes, and a whistle. Failure to do so will result in a deduction of pay for every game worked during the season.

Payment for Games

Referees will be paid once time each season within two weeks after the completion of the season. If you do not receive your check, please email Lisa Garner at [email protected]. All referees must submit a W9 tax form before payment can be made. You can click .......{Here} for the form.

Referees who miss or arrive late to ANY of their scheduled games may be deleted from future schedules and their pay rate will be lowered for their games already worked.
